About this piece

After almost 3 months without even open Photoshop, some weeks ago I had an urge to make some art. I have started 7 different pieces (!) but this is the only one I managed to finish. I hope you like it.

Daily Deviation

Given 2012-07-05

Lagrimas de Chuva by *Josiane-Rey is simply beautiful. The contrast between the delicate, downcast pose of the model and the turbulence of the sea below the balcony evokes great emotion. The gentle light streaming from the windows builds drama and a sense of longing, perhaps for one who will never arrive. Overall, it is a lovely photomanipulation that tells a powerful story.
